And many times we don’t find so solid examples of it so, all of those who work in this business might want to take note of it for future presentations. On Saturday, the first day the iPad was available in stores in the US, Apple sold 300.000 units in 15 hours (that’s 333 iPads/minute). But Apple was not the one to sell them. It was us, all the ones who are proud of this brand and its products. Apple was the one to bill for it, but Apple doesn’t sell computers, mp3 players, tablets… we, their consumers, take care of that. Apple sells “Thinking Different”. We sell the tools to do so and they bill them. That is good brand communication. An analysis I understood watching the 1984 Macintosh’s launch commercial shot by Ridley Scott for the 1984 Superbowl for the first agency I worked at, Chiat/Day, and I saw for the first time exposed just like that by Alain Uceda.

The results of good brand communication are great.
