Aproximately 7 years ago, Bassat\/Ogilvy<\/a> asked me to design the worldwide television closing for Telef\u00f3nica. The last 5 seconds of all the audiovisual comunication for their 8 brands (Telef\u00f3nica, Telef\u00f3nica CTC, Telef\u00f3nica Unifon, Telef\u00f3nica Data, Telef\u00f3nica Moviles, Telef\u00f3nica M\u00f3vil, Telef\u00f3nica MoviStar y Telef\u00f3nica Celular) in all the 11 countries where the spanish company was operating (Espa\u00f1a, Argentina, Brasil, Guatemala, El Salvador, Per\u00fa, M\u00e9xico, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay y USA).
During these 7 years, all the spectators of all these countries have seen it every time this telecommunication giant decided to expose itself to the public. A work that we never thought would be on screen for so long and for which finally the day to say goodbye came. For a few months now, all the Telef\u00f3nica products are called Movistar. And with this brand name change, obviously, it has disappeared from the TV screens. That’s why I use this new screen to avoid it disappearing completely. Because it was fun to do it, it was one of my first approaches to new ways of communication y, of course, it was a luxury to be able to be in so many people’s retinas for so long.
