Obviously, Google Street View was going to serve some other purpose than just letting the whole world be impressed with its founder’s capability to do incredible things (which was not bad to start with). And it seems that one of the purposes might very well be what would become Google Store View. According to Barry Schwatrz from “Search Engine Land”, a store called Oh Nuts says that Google has been inside its store in NY taking pictures of the inside of the store every 2 meters in all directions. I don’t know if it’s an intelligent promotion initiative from Oh Nuts to get attention, but if it’s not Google Store View it would be predictable to be something similar. Although, coming from Google, predictability is not an issue.
Era obvio que Google Street View iba a servir para algo más que dejarnos a todos con la boca abierta por el poderío de sus creadores (que no era poco, todo hay que decirlo). Pues bien, parece que una de las utilidades podría ser lo que rumorean que se llamaría Google Store View. Según Barry Schwatrz de “Search Engine Land”, una tienda llamada Oh Nuts dice que Google ha estado en uno de sus locales de NY fotografiando su tienda cada 2 metros en todas las direcciones. No se si será una campaña de Oh Nuts para llamar la atención, pero si no es Google Store View, lo lógico sería que fuera algo parecido. Aunque tratandose de Google, lo normal sería hacer algo inesperado.
